The Filters option at the top of the dashboard will allow you to toggle and update the date range used for the dashboard. All reports within the dashboard will use that same date range. Date ranges can be applied as a past time period from today, a specific date range, or other variations of time periods. Once the filtered date range is updated, you will need to click the purple Run button to refresh the data being displayed on the dashboard.
Because these filters are new, we wanted to provide a brief explanation of them:
Extras to consider:
- One important detail when using various date range filters is that new weeks start on Mondays. Thus, the complete week is Monday - Sunday
- When using the is in the past filter, it takes into account the present day / week / month as applicable and is a dynamic filter. This means that if I use the filter is in the past 2 weeks, and taking into account the point above this, it would be filtering data from this present week and the week prior. Specifically, this would be Monday - Sunday for week 1 (the week prior), and Monday - today of week 2 (the present week). To further clarify, this also includes data from today
- When using the is in range filter, data from the second date selection is not included within the date range. An example of this is if the date range is 2019-01-01 - 2019-02-01, the data returned will be from 2019-01-01 - 2019-01-31 and not include any data from 2019-02-01
- When downloading/exporting data from the dashboard, the timezone will be the timezone that the Enervee Database is in (Pacific).
